Well, we're back from the blogging dead.  Hope you have some patience because this might take me a while to catch up since Halloween. :)  If you get bored I completely understand....I'll try to condense it as much as I can.

November:  We had a bittersweet November I guess.  It started off with some not good news as many of you are already aware of...my dad had a stroke on Nov. 5th.  He was in ICU for 6 weeks and is now in a different hospital improving every single day.  I won't get into all the details of it, but he is doing so much better & we're trying to get him to talk which I know he will do soon.  This has really made me take a step back & re-examine my life and to realize what it really important in this life.  Thanks for everyone's prayers & thoughts--our family truly appreciates all your support.

With everything going on my mom cancelled her HUGE Thanksgiving breakfast that she does every year for her entire family, but she still cooked for all her kids.  It was DELICIOUS!!! I love having Thanksgiving breakfast- starts the day off right. :)

After breakfast we headed over to the Fa Family Reunion that luckily was in AZ this year. All of Vuna's (Sione's dad) side of the family were here & they had a 3 day reunion with lots of fun & food.  It was so good to see so many family members that we haven't seen in a long time & for me to meet some for the first time. Vuna comes from a family of 17 so there were LOTS of people and the kids had a blast.

December: It's been a busy busy month for us, or at least it seems like it's been non-stop.  We had a great Christmas. We got to spend a lot of time with both families and the kids got spoiled! It was fun to see the kids this year- they are getting old enough to kind of start getting into it.  Maizi was especially excited to open presents & about Santa this year. We went to the Fa's in the morning for breakfast & for lunch. Yummy!! Then, we headed over to the Fig's for some more food- my mom's potato soup. Love it! We had such a good time hanging out with our families- we only wish that Dad could have been there.
Went to see the Temple Lights w/my brothers & sisters (some of them)...the young ones. Hahaha!! :)

Maizi got her pink Sleeping Beauty doll that she talked about ALL month long.
Soakai got a basketball & hoop...he was in heaven!
That poor dog....she never leaves him alone.
What do you know....Roxxi is hiding my face so she can be the pretty one.  Typical.
Sage's gift for Grandma & Grandpa's house....big hit!

Hopefully that catches you all up for now- tried to get it all in, but I'm sure that I forgot some things.

Miss us?????

For the few of you that check our blog- I'm so sorry! I haven't had the internet lately so I'm totally behind on my posts. I will get back on here soon & then you have lots of new pictures to look at and get all caught up with the Fa's - aren't you SO excited. I'm sure the anticipation is killing you! :)

Halloween Part 2

Saturday night we went in to Mesa to go to Sione's parents trunk-or-treat.  We've never taken our kids to one these before- they had SO much fun walking around to all the cars & trick or treating. They got WAY too much candy.  When we got home I put Maizi in bed because she had fallen asleep & in her sleep she said "Candy, candy, candy"
I guess she was dreaming of candy.  :)
It was a fun night with all the cousins!
Soakai didn't even bother to unwrap his candy- just ate it all together. :)
Soakai & Tali
Peter Pan & Tinker Bell  (even though we got a lot of Robin Hood & Fairy comments)

Mmmm...... Cotton Candy!
Lana & Maizi

Halloween Part 1

We had such a fun weekend with our families and the kids getting all dressed up & of courseALL the candy & goodies.  On Friday night we had the Fig's Fall Festival over at my sister, Kalli's house.  All the kids had a blast & I'm pretty sure the adults had just as much fun.  There was cookie decorating, fishing games, face painting, donut game, and a pinata. Lots and lots for all the kiddos to do....here are some pictures of the night (sorry for all the pictures but I couldn't decide which ones to use).
My darling kids wouldn't sit w/me for a picture so this is the best I got.
Tried to get all the kids in one shot - didn't work :)
The Fig girls!
Me & my cousin Tasha- we have a similar picture when we were like 12 or 13 so we had to do it again :)
Sorry Tasha- I know you didn't want to.
The girls decided to attack Zachary with the paint brushes
Maizi's butterfly

Waiting for the pinata
Trying to get those donuts on a string- it was so funny to watch

Teresa did such a good job on the face paintings - I loved mine!
This is how much fun Maizi was when we first got there....she should've gone
as Sleeping Beauty instead of Tinkerbell.

Memorials for Shane

Last week there were 2 memorials for Shane- one if Phoenix at the site of the accident & one in Maricopa to dedicate a bridge in Shane's name.  They were both so nice and I'm so glad that we were able to go to them.  It's still hard to believe sometimes that this is even real - it feels like I just haven't seen Shane in a while.  But, we know that we will see him again very soon. We love you guys so much!!

This is the sign of the bridge on Honeycutt

Miss Kenzlie- adorable as ever!
The only time our kids sat still
Cory gave such a nice talk
