Halloween Part 1

We had such a fun weekend with our families and the kids getting all dressed up & of courseALL the candy & goodies.  On Friday night we had the Fig's Fall Festival over at my sister, Kalli's house.  All the kids had a blast & I'm pretty sure the adults had just as much fun.  There was cookie decorating, fishing games, face painting, donut game, and a pinata. Lots and lots for all the kiddos to do....here are some pictures of the night (sorry for all the pictures but I couldn't decide which ones to use).
My darling kids wouldn't sit w/me for a picture so this is the best I got.
Tried to get all the kids in one shot - didn't work :)
The Fig girls!
Me & my cousin Tasha- we have a similar picture when we were like 12 or 13 so we had to do it again :)
Sorry Tasha- I know you didn't want to.
The girls decided to attack Zachary with the paint brushes

Waiting for the pinata
Trying to get those donuts on a string- it was so funny to watch

Teresa did such a good job on the face paintings - I loved mine!
This is how much fun Maizi was when we first got there....she should've gone
as Sleeping Beauty instead of Tinkerbell.

Memorials for Shane

Last week there were 2 memorials for Shane- one if Phoenix at the site of the accident & one in Maricopa to dedicate a bridge in Shane's name.  They were both so nice and I'm so glad that we were able to go to them.  It's still hard to believe sometimes that this is even real - it feels like I just haven't seen Shane in a while.  But, we know that we will see him again very soon. We love you guys so much!!

Miss Kenzlie- adorable as ever!

I think that it is so interesting to see how quickly boys & girls start doing "boy" & "girl" things. So as much as Maizi is obsessed will all girly/princess things, Soakai is equally obsessed with boy things...mostly baseball.  Sione bought him a little glove that he found at a garage sale & it fits him perfectly.  This is his new best toy- he takes it with him everywhere.  This past weekend Maizi spent the night with Eternity so we decided to take Soakai to the park & get some baseball practice in....he loved it!!! He could've stayed there all day. I've never seen a kid so mesmerized by sports & balls.  The other night we went to Sione's softball game & he just stood in the dugout watching the guys play- he wouldn't take his eyes off the game.  I think we have a sports fanatic---Sorry Sione! :)

This is Soakai's version of the Haka- it's so cute & he can get so low.
Typical Soakai!!

Princess Maizi

As many of you know Maizi is obsessed with the whole Princess thing lateley.  She's a different princess everyday- Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White.  She also LOVES to dress up so the other day she got quite an outfit put together....her tutu, her grass skirt, her flower headband, necklace, high heels and a bonnet....all ready to go to Grandma's.  Of course she wouldn't take it off to go & we barely got her in her car seat with all that garb.  Then, naturally, she fell asleep almost as soon as we pulled out of our driveway & slept in this lovely ensemble. What a girl!!

September Birthdays

I'm a little late on this, but I just got around to downloading the pictures.  We had  a couple September birthdays in my family...my sisters Wisti & Roxxi & nephew, Dustin.  So we all got together at my mom & dad's to celebrate.  Here are a few pictures that I captured on this blessed day.  :)  I especially LOVE the one of Kalli- I think it's the best photo I've ever seen of her.....Stunning I tell you....Absolutely STUNNING!!!!

**Sorry about the blurry pictures- I guess I don't know how to work my camera :)
