Our "Baby" is 3!!!

Our little man is now three years old! I seriously can't believe how fast that went. He has definitely given me some gray hairs, but he is also the sweetest kid when he wants to be. :) Soakai is the busiest boy I've ever seen. He fills his days with throwing all his toys over every wall in the backyard, climbing up on the playhouse roof, and digging up all the rocks in the backyard and most recently he has decided that he can go to the bathroom wherever he feels like it outside. :) Joys of boys!!!

For Soakai's birthday we celebrated at the Fig's & at the Fa's. He loved the attention & all the gifts. Thanks everyone for loving Soakai as much as we do!
His Spiderman bike....he LOVES!!!

The singing was just too loud for the birthday boy.
I had to add this picture- Soakai got a Spiderman costume & Reign put the mask on - he creeped me out!
Once again the singing was just too much!

Photography by Maizi

As I'm sure you are all aware by now, any chance Maizi or Soakai get to steal my camera it comes back to me with like 100 pictures on there. These are just a few moments Maizi caught on Christmas.

Kalli ~ This is by far the prettiest picture I've ever seen of you!! :)
Jessica - soon to be Jessica Duncan.
Zach & Teresa....soon to be Teresa Figueroa????

Cute!

Temple Lights

This is probably one of my favorite things to do at Christmastime --- Temple Lights. They were so pretty, like every year. When we over to see the nativity scene the kids ran across the lawn & tried to get on the donkey with Mary. Of course those would be our kids!! :)

Christmas Cont.

More Christmas pictures! This year I decided to put together a little gift exchange for the younger grandkids. I thought it was so much fun for them.

If you notice Maizi's hair in this picture - courtesy of Triumph. She LOVED it! She was so proud of the way it looked.

Maizi & Kenzlie...poor girl. I don't think that Maizi left her side the whole time she was there. :)

Christmas 2010

Since we're nearing Valentine's Day I decided that I absolutely had to get my Christmas blogging done....I think this should've been my New Year's resolution. :)

Christmas this year was so nice for us. We spent the morning with the Fa's (and as usual we came home with a car load of gifts & goodies). Then after lunch we headed over to my parent's house for even more eating & gifts for the kids. It was especially nice to have my dad home this year. We had so much fun with our families ~ it was so good to be reminded of what this time of year is really about & what really matters in life.

Soakai opening his presents....he loved his new pj's. :)

All Soakai wanted was a Buzz & Woody doll....glad we finally found one.

All Maizi wanted this year was a Barbie....Rapunzel was close enough.
Kids seeing their gifts under the tree for the first time - it was so fun this year since they're both old enough to have such great reactions. I have to say that our kids seem to be easily pleased. Good for us!

We got a really big, pretty tree this year and the kids insisted on helping me. So, I finally gave up the idea of having it decorated perfectly & let me have at it. You can't really tell from these pictures but the finished product was basically all of the ornaments at the bottom of the tree in one section. I guess the lesson to be learned for me was patience & spending time with my kids.
