Wasn't that an emotional show last night?? I don't know why I got so caught up in it...I even know how it all turns out & I still got all nervous when they were doing the challenge to decide teams. Then, when Bob saw his original team for the first time....gosh, I felt like someone died or something. Even Sione was getting all worked up seeing it all over again. It's fun to watch the show with Sione now because he tells you all the little things that happened behind the scenes & what they choose not to show. For example....the whole mud challenge thing (I forget what they called it)...the rules were that you had to keep your shoes on, but of course some people took them off & were allowed to keep them off for the challenge which made it easier for them. And, Sione had to redo a bunch of his up/downs because the judges said he didn't touch. I'm not making excuses for him, but sometimes I wish people knew how things really happened. I really want him to beat Tara- I'm a little tired of hearing how great she is. At least they won the bike challenge as a team. Way to go Sione for sticking up for yourself & not quitting!!! Sione always said that if there was ever a challenge & people wanted to quit that he would respect them for their choice, but he would never quit.
Poor Bob. I am well aware of the connection that Sione & Bob have. After seeing last nights show & hearing all the stories I'm wondering if I should be worried?! Sione- do you have anything that you would like to talk to me about. :) He's gonna kill me for that. I don't think that people realize how close you grow to your trainer & teammates- they become your family- since you can't even talk to your family at home. I know that it might have looked a little dramatic, but (I'm told) when you're there & they change things up like that on you it's pretty emotional and shocking. There are a lot of other things that played a role in their reactions to switching to Jillians team that I won't get into, but it makes sense as to why Sione was so upset about the switch. I did have to giggle though when Sione covered his face with his hood so we couldn't see him. My mom called me & said that it looked like Maizi when she pouts. :) Now I know where she get it.

I was frustrated with Ron's rantings last night. "The best support back home." Dane was right on when he said that it was strategy because he was his son's biggest competition. And while that is true the blue team messed up by voting Dane off. Now they will be facing elimination more often then not because Ron just can't pull the necessary numbers. And he'll continue on with his usual spill of "support system" at home.
Back to Tuesday nights show. I loved it too when Sione put his hoodie over his face. That was classic. Wednesday nights weigh in proved that Sione is always going to do just fine no matter who his trainer is. They set it up with the other contestants commentaries doubts of his weight loss - then he pulled off a 10 lbs weight loss. That is awesome! Congratulations Sione!
I loved this post! It is fun to hear about all the little tidbits from the show! I think that's so stupid how the judge kept making SIone re-do his updowns...especially with how close he was to winning!
I am SO sick of Tara, she was annoying me when she was talking about how she wanted to her team to look at her during the challenge and think she was awesome.
Steven said she looks like one of those crazy cartoon versions of herself with the big heads! (Kinda mean-so I'm glad your blog is private:)
It was so sad to see Bob look around at his team searching for SIone and Lipe. THe look on his face was so sad! But I was dying with Lipe's "How..you tell me?
jeez, Ron is a manipulator. I guess thats the only reason he's still on the show. He plays the "feel sorry for me and my son' card too much! I felt so bad for Dane last night!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who got a little teary over Tuesday's show! I liked how Sione hid in his shirt like a little sad turtle. I almost texted you to see if Sione needed to tell you something about he and Bob. : )
I was really proud of him when he stood up and said he wouldn't quit.
I'm sick of the same old song and dance from Ron about his son, blah, blah, blah. Its so old.
And Tara gets on my last nerve. Grr.
our stupid DVR didnt tape the whole thing because our lame a** president decided to talk forever about spending money...
my sisters were both crying apparently, so I need to go download it from the website...
I too was quite irritated that the president had to choose Tuesday night @ 7 to come on!!! However, it worked out good, because I got to watch it at 8, at the hospital, while having contractions!! (Talk about devoted fans!!) haha!! The nurse told me that she has her husband tape it for her & that Sione was her husband's favorite player!! Too cool!! Shayne & I were wondering how he's gonna handle all the fame when he goes out in public??? :)
I love it when you comment about the shows! Sione is doing so awesome... I was telling my hubbie about the stuff you say about all the stuff they don't show - Sione definitely needs more recognition! Anyway, we're rooting for him and Filipe!!!!
I didn't like Tara from the begining. This is our first year watching it because of Sione and we are addicted and get anxiety after Tuesday's show "To be continued" Sione is doing great.
