Forgot a few things....

So I knew that I would forget a few things when updated a few days ago so here are a couple things I missed:

I guess it's mostly an update on Sione happenings, but still pretty exciting things for us. :)

Make sure you all go out & get the Biggest Loser Workout DVD that Sione is in...he leads a couple of the workouts &  not only will you get a good workout you will also enjoy some of Sione's random comments that were pretty funny (Hint: listen to his ball workout) HAHA!!

Sione & Filipe were also lucky enough to be asked to go the the Jay Leno Show to show off their "special talent".  They did the Haka dance & did an awesome job....had lots of fun too!

Sione has also been traveling around a lot promoting a new drink...Adina Holistics.  They are now available in all Whole Foods & some convenience stores.  Go out & try some....they're yummy and don't have all the crap that other drinks have in them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOAKAI!!!

It's so crazy that it's been 2 years since I had Soakai.  He still seems like a baby to me.  I remember when I was pregnant with him I would hope & pray that I would get a "calm" child since we all know how Maizi is. :)  Well, a "calm" child we did NOT get....quite the opposite! Soakai is one busy little boy- he never stops, gets into everything (very quickly) & he talks all day long. Maizi met her match with Soakai. Most days we just have to look and each other and laugh because we don't know what else to do. He can be so sweet sometimes and give you a look that makes you feel so bad that you were ever mad at him....I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what he's doing! :) I am told this is pretty much what Sione was like as a little boy too, so I guess it's payback for Sione.

We love him so much & we're glad he's in our family!

Soakai's First Birthday...he looks so small.  I tried to find pictures of him when he was born, but they're on my old computer.

He LOVES sugar- can you tell?!

We got a jumper....kids had so much fun!(I think a few adults did too.)

His new bowling game- he got so many cool toys.

Well, we're back from the blogging dead.  Hope you have some patience because this might take me a while to catch up since Halloween. :)  If you get bored I completely understand....I'll try to condense it as much as I can.

November:  We had a bittersweet November I guess.  It started off with some not good news as many of you are already aware of...my dad had a stroke on Nov. 5th.  He was in ICU for 6 weeks and is now in a different hospital improving every single day.  I won't get into all the details of it, but he is doing so much better & we're trying to get him to talk which I know he will do soon.  This has really made me take a step back & re-examine my life and to realize what it really important in this life.  Thanks for everyone's prayers & thoughts--our family truly appreciates all your support.

With everything going on my mom cancelled her HUGE Thanksgiving breakfast that she does every year for her entire family, but she still cooked for all her kids.  It was DELICIOUS!!! I love having Thanksgiving breakfast- starts the day off right. :)

After breakfast we headed over to the Fa Family Reunion that luckily was in AZ this year. All of Vuna's (Sione's dad) side of the family were here & they had a 3 day reunion with lots of fun & food.  It was so good to see so many family members that we haven't seen in a long time & for me to meet some for the first time. Vuna comes from a family of 17 so there were LOTS of people and the kids had a blast.

December: It's been a busy busy month for us, or at least it seems like it's been non-stop.  We had a great Christmas. We got to spend a lot of time with both families and the kids got spoiled! It was fun to see the kids this year- they are getting old enough to kind of start getting into it.  Maizi was especially excited to open presents & about Santa this year. We went to the Fa's in the morning for breakfast & for lunch. Yummy!! Then, we headed over to the Fig's for some more food- my mom's potato soup. Love it! We had such a good time hanging out with our families- we only wish that Dad could have been there.
Went to see the Temple Lights w/my brothers & sisters (some of them)...the young ones. Hahaha!! :)

Maizi got her pink Sleeping Beauty doll that she talked about ALL month long.
Soakai got a basketball & hoop...he was in heaven!
That poor dog....she never leaves him alone.
What do you know....Roxxi is hiding my face so she can be the pretty one.  Typical.
Sage's gift for Grandma & Grandpa's house....big hit!

Hopefully that catches you all up for now- tried to get it all in, but I'm sure that I forgot some things.

Miss us?????

For the few of you that check our blog- I'm so sorry! I haven't had the internet lately so I'm totally behind on my posts. I will get back on here soon & then you have lots of new pictures to look at and get all caught up with the Fa's - aren't you SO excited. I'm sure the anticipation is killing you! :)

Halloween Part 2

Saturday night we went in to Mesa to go to Sione's parents trunk-or-treat.  We've never taken our kids to one these before- they had SO much fun walking around to all the cars & trick or treating. They got WAY too much candy.  When we got home I put Maizi in bed because she had fallen asleep & in her sleep she said "Candy, candy, candy"
I guess she was dreaming of candy.  :)
It was a fun night with all the cousins!
Soakai didn't even bother to unwrap his candy- just ate it all together. :)
Soakai & Tali
Peter Pan & Tinker Bell  (even though we got a lot of Robin Hood & Fairy comments)

Mmmm...... Cotton Candy!
