What is wrong with them???

I know that I've been really bad about posting about the show (not having a computer doesn't help) so I figured that last night deserves a post. I cannot for the life of me figure out why in the world ALL of Jillian's team voted for Damien to go home instead of that lunatic Joelle!! She's CRAZY! I get the whole thing that they wanted Carla to come back, but now they just have to keep dealing with Joelle. Her own team voted for her so why didn't the other team?! And they even asked them how they should vote. I just don't get it. I don't see her lasting much longer though---at least I hope she doesn't. She drives me nuts! Ok, so enough about her---didn't Damien & Nicole look great. I'm so happy for them- they'll look SO good for their wedding. Also, great job Filipe for losing 14 lbs. I couldn't really tell if he was happy about that or not. :) Hopefully we'll get to see more than 5 seconds of Sione next week...

Soakai's First Birthday!!!

Soakai had his first birthday on Monday! Can you believe how big he's getting?! These kids grow up so fast. It seems like it was just a couple months ago that I was in the hospital having him. I can also remember very well those first few sleepless weeks staying up with a sick baby. Soakai got really sick the day we brought him home & he had a rough few weeks (so did mom & dad). Glad that part is over!

Some of the things that Soakai has been doing lately include: GETTING INTO EVERYTHING!!! I didn't think that it was possible that I could have another kid that was as busy (or sometimes busier) than Maizi, but I was wrong---way wrong! He has been walking for a couple months now & sometimes even does a little run if he's being chased by Maizi. He is very easily amused & laughs about anything, but he's also a sensitive little guy. He must get that from his dad. :)

I will post some pictues as soon as a I can---my computer isn't working so I haven't been able to get my pictures or post anything.

Happy New Year!!

I cannot believe that it's already 2009. I swear it seems like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating the year 2000 and all the hooplah that went with Y2K. Man- time flies!

I guess that means I'm gettin pretty old, huh? I actually stayed awake this year to ring in the new so I'm quite proud of myself. I don't think that I've made it to midnight for the past 3 years. I was pregnant for 2 of those so I guess I had an excuse. So, this year we (me & the kids) went over to my friend Margo's house. It was so much fun to hang out with my old friend- I think we spent most of our single New Year's Eves together & had some pretty good times. :)

On New Year's Day we headed over to my parents house. Most of my family made it over

with the exception of a few.

We just hung out, ate, rested and watched the kids playing & riding their quads & go-karts.

Unfortunately, the next day Maizi got pretty sick & she's still not feeling too good. I haven't felt so great either...maybe it was the late night out catching up with me. :)

All in all though this new year has started out pretty good.
